"Jak długo na Wawelu" is the anthem of Wisła Kraków. The anthem is based on a patriotic song that is believed to be created in the late 19th century and gained popularity during the early 20th century when Poland was regaining its independence. The exact time when this song became the anthem of Wisła is unclear, although various sources point to the 1920s. Throughout history, different versions of the anthem with slightly varied lyrics have been used. It is sung before every Wisła match, and fans often initiate it in the final minutes of the game, regardless of the score. It is likely the oldest continuously used polish sports song.
